Saskatchewan School Library Association offers many professional development opportunities for all educators. The Digital Fluency Badges is just one of the exciting opportunities in which participants earn digital badges through learning about technology tools and applications to apply to teaching practices. There are more than 70 different digital tools available for participating teachers can preview and use in their classroom.
To further help educators integrate technology into their teaching, the Saskatchewan School Library Association offers Facebook Live sessions in which current technologies are discussed. NOW... the new way educators can learn about technologies that help meet instructional and learning needs - Purposeful Task eNewsletters. The Purposeful Task eNewsletters are a print document which shares technologies focused on a theme and offers learning possibilities for the classroom.
The current Purposeful Task eNewsletter is entitled Show What U Know. It is focused on ways students can share their knowledge and provides a formal assessment for the teacher to help with instructional directions.
